From 1st August 2026, Moore Teachers will be fully integrated into Step Teachers Ltd, following Step Teachers' acquisition of the business in March 2025.
For our schools, candidates and staff, the most important message is simple: it is very much business as usual. The local service, relationships and expertise that have made Moore Teachers successful will remain at the heart of everything we do. The team you know and trust will continue to support schools and candidates across Hertfordshire and Essex.
This change also brings an important benefit for schools. Step Teachers has secured a place on the Government Commercial Agency's Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment Framework and was also appointed to the previous two framework agreements under Crown Commercial Services. This means schools can continue working with Moore Teachers while meeting the latest procurement requirements.
Since becoming part of the Step Teachers Group, we have been working closely together and have seen how closely aligned our values, culture and commitment to schools are. Bringing the two businesses together is the natural next step in that journey.
