About Chibuzo
I am an MEng Aerospace Engineering graduate with experience working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools. My strong academic background in science, maths and engineering enables me to confidently support pupils across STEM subjects, while my supply experience has developed my ability to adapt quickly and provide effective classroom supervision across the wider curriculum.
I am a clear and approachable communicator who enjoys helping pupils understand challenging concepts by breaking learning down into manageable steps and using practical, real-world examples. In the classroom, I focus on maintaining positive behaviour, following school policies and creating a safe, purposeful environment where pupils can remain engaged with their learning. I am comfortable working with pupils of different abilities and adapting my communication and support to their individual needs.
Most recently, I worked as a Supply Cover Supervisor from February to July 2026, supervising classes during teacher absence, managing behaviour and the quality of pupils' work, and providing additional explanation and tutoring where required. I am keen to continue supporting secondary schools and bring my strong STEM knowledge, adaptability and enthusiasm for education into the classroom.
