About Christine

I am an experienced primary teacher and SENCo with over 25 years of experience across KS1, KS2, leadership, SEND and safeguarding. Throughout my career, I have held roles including Assistant Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, SENCo and most recently Education Officer for Hertfordshire County Council Virtual School, supporting vulnerable children and young people.

I pride myself on building positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, creating nurturing and inclusive learning environments where every child can succeed. My strengths lie in SEND provision, therapeutic approaches to behaviour, safeguarding and multi-agency working, alongside a calm, supportive leadership style that helps both pupils and staff thrive.

Most recently, I worked as an Education Officer for Hertfordshire County Council Virtual School, supporting children with a social worker, following my role as Year 2 Teacher and SENCo at Tewin Cowper C of E Primary School. My breadth of experience across teaching, leadership and inclusion enables me to make a positive impact in a wide range of primary settings.
