A welcoming and supportive primary school in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their team for one day per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified SENCO who is passionate about inclusion, enjoys working collaboratively with staff and families, and is committed to ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.
The Role
- Experienced SENCO required
- Part-time position – 1 day per week
- Based at a primary school in Hertfordshire
- Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies
- Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place
- Support the development of an inclusive learning environment

Can You Offer?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Coordination
- Previous experience as a SENCO
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience working with a range of special educational needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive education
