About Lesley

I am an experienced and committed Primary Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for delivering engaging, well-planned lessons and creating positive learning environments where children feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed.

I have extensive experience teaching Year 1, having spent over 12 years within the phase, alongside more recent experience teaching upper Key Stage 2. In addition to classroom teaching, I have held leadership responsibilities including Maths Lead, History Lead and Geography Lead, supporting curriculum development and whole-school improvement.

I am known for my professional, organised and adaptable approach and have successfully worked across a variety of school settings, both in permanent roles and on supply. I pride myself on quickly building positive relationships with pupils and staff and maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
