About Nancy

I am an experienced Primary Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience across Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2. Throughout my career, I have taught Years 1 to 5 and developed particular expertise within KS1, where I have consistently supported pupils to build strong foundations in learning, confidence and achievement.

I am passionate about delivering engaging, inclusive teaching and creating positive classroom environments where all children can thrive. Alongside my classroom experience, I have held leadership responsibilities including English Lead, History Lead, Music Lead and Design Technology Lead. I have also worked as a Lead Teacher for Herts for Learning, mentoring colleagues and supporting teaching and learning across multiple schools.

I am currently teaching Year 2 at Roydon Primary School and continue to undertake teaching assignments across a range of schools. I am seeking a 2–3 day per week opportunity where I can utilise my extensive classroom experience, particularly within KS1, intervention work and supporting disadvantaged pupils through targeted provision.
