About Rebecca
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils in primary and SEND settings. I currently work across a variety of schools on a supply basis and have experience supporting children with additional needs, emotional regulation and classroom learning. Alongside my practical experience, I am currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Primary Education as I work towards a long-term career in teaching.
I pride myself on building positive relationships with pupils and helping children feel supported, engaged and confident in their learning. My experience includes supporting emotional wellbeing, preparing learning environments, observing pupil progress and working collaboratively with teachers to ensure pupils can access learning successfully. My calm, adaptable approach allows me to quickly become an effective member of any school team.
Most recently, I have been undertaking supply Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant roles across a range of schools, supporting different year groups and learning needs. Prior to this, I worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant at Oak View Primary and Nursery School, where I supported pupils both in and out of the classroom and contributed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
