About Teresa

I am an experienced Primary Teacher and Senior Leader with over 30 years of experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in both UK and international schools. Throughout my career, I have held a range of leadership roles including Deputy Headteacher, SENCO, EYFS Coordinator, KS1 Coordinator and subject leadership positions, supporting both pupil achievement and whole-school improvement.

I am passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive. My strengths lie in building positive relationships, supporting pupils with additional needs, leading curriculum development and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Colleagues value my calm, adaptable approach, strong organisational skills and commitment to pupil wellbeing.

More recently, I have worked through Moore Teachers across a variety of primary settings, delivering teaching and support roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Since April 2026, I have been teaching Reception at High Leigh Primary School, where I continue to support young learners through engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS provision.
