About Tierney
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher with experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2 in both UK and international school settings. I am passionate about creating engaging, child-centred learning environments where pupils feel supported, challenged and encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Throughout my career, I have developed strong classroom practice, excellent organisational skills and a positive, nurturing approach to teaching. I pride myself on building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
My experience includes teaching within both mainstream UK schools and an international setting in Dubai, where I supported children from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I am confident delivering high-quality teaching, continuous provision and creative learning experiences that promote confidence, independence and progress.
